Violinist Venus Parker holds Masters degrees in both Violin Performance and Music Education from Georgia State University. At Georgia State, Venus she studied with Professor Oliver Steiner, a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music. Venus is a former school orchestra director in the Gwinnett County School District who also has over 30 years of private teaching experience.
Venus has performed with many orchestras in the southeast including Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, and the Atlanta Pops Orchestra.
Venus also has had the pleasure of performing with Ray Charles, Barry White, the Moody Blues, and many other popular singers and bands during her freelancing career.
