William Pu Music Academy, located in the heart of fast-growing north Fulton County, is Atlanta’s premier music academy. WPMA was founded by William Pu, the former Associate Concertmaster of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the former Assistant Concertmaster of the Houston Symphony Orchestra.
William Pu Music Academy offers private and group music lessons to students from age 3 all the way to Adult on various instruments, as well as music theory, music composition, and sight-reading classes. Our students come from cities such as Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Duluth, Milton, Suwanee, Roswell, Cumming, and Atlanta itself because of the quality of instruction found at our Academy.
Students at the William Pu Music Academy have the opportunity to study with some of the best musicians in Atlanta. Helping young students to achieve their highest potential in music has long been Mr. Pu’s dream. That dream has now come true!

The core mission of the Academy is to serve the Atlanta region, enhance the music programs in Atlanta area schools, and enrich the lives of young students by providing the very highest quality music education.
With some of the best musicians in Atlanta, Mr. Pu has created an institution that includes a faculty with unmatched teaching expertise for both solo and orchestral repertoire, helping students succeed in their auditions for various events and competitions, and winning sections and principal positions in Georgia Honor Program (GHP), All-State orchestras, Emory Youth Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, and other local youth orchestras.
