Welcome trumpet faculty!

Soloff_Photo 1We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Brandon Soloff to join the outstanding faculty of WPMA!

Brandon Soloff is a native of Roswell, GA. He began his study of trumpet at age 10 and has since studied with Thomas Hooten, Robert Murray, and the late Lew Soloff. Brandon is in his final semester before earning a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Columbus State University’s Schwob School of Music in Columbus, GA. Brandon has performed in wind bands and orchestra under the direction of Jamie L. Nix, Paul Hostetter, Craig Kirchhoff, Steven D. Davis, Eugene Corporon, Mallory Thompson, H. Robert Reynolds, Allan McMurray, Kevin Sedatole, and Gary Hill.

In addition to his studies and being a well-known member of the Columbus and Atlanta freelance music scene, Brandon also maintains a private studio of students and a busy teaching schedule as a Brass Instructor during Marching Band season. Brandon also was the Assistant Director of Operations and Production for the 25th Annual National Trumpet Competition which was hosted in Columbus, GA in March of 2016.
