Congratulations to Hamin You, a talented 8th-grade violin student at WPMA, for winning First Prize in the Artisan 1 category (Strings, ages 10–18) of the 2024–2025 Samuel Fordis Young Artists Concerto Competition hosted by the Georgia Philharmonic!
As part of this achievement, Hamin will be featured as a soloist, performing Zigeunerweisen with the Georgia Philharmonic on February 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lassiter High School Concert Hall. Tickets for the concert are available HERE.
