As a native of Buford, Georgia, Jacob Lenz finds himself increasingly influenced by the sounds of Soul, Jazz, and R&B.  He studied these genres as well as classical music under Dr. Seth Killen at Anderson University, where he graduated with a BM in Commercial Music.  He has been teaching private lessons for about a year at different studios between Greenville and Atlanta.  And while his principal instrument is voice, he also plays guitar, piano, electric bass, and upright bass.  He has performed at the Bill Heard Theater, Atlanta’s Fox Theater, and Carnegie Hall.  That is in addition to over 50 performances in 13 different ensembles with Anderson University.  While he was there, he discovered his love for orchestration and his interest in pursuing an orchestral career as a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumental musician.
