Meng Dai is an active virtuoso cellist. She started playing cello when she was 7 years old. She finished her Bachelor degree in Lanzhou University in China, and got her master degree in Xi’an Conservatory of Music in China. Now she is pursuing her artist diploma in Columbus State University with Wendy Warner.

Meng has participated in many music festivals. She attended master classes with Nicholas Tzavaras (The Shanghai Quartet), Marion Feldman (Manhattan School of Music), Ulf Tischbirek (Lubeck Academy of Music), Daniel Vies, and Wen Ma (The Central Conservatory of Music, China). During Men’s studies in Xi’an, she performed two individual cello recitals in Xi’an Conservatory of Music. In 2018, she performed in Shanghai Global Music School. In the summer of 2019, she performed in LeFrak Concert Hall, Copland School of Music, New York.

Currently she is plays in a duet with the pianist Weilu Liu. They will go on music tours in the summer of 2020.
