In April William Pu Music Academy will expand its annual Showcase Concert into a full Showcase Day of recitals and ensemble performances! 

WPMA’s first Showcase Day will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Johns Creek United Methodist Church. (This event is rescheduled from Sunday, January 23, 2022 due to the Covid-19 Omicron variant.)

The day’s schedule will be:

  • 8:30am – Venue opens to WPMA teachers and students
  • 9:00am to 3:00pm – WPMA STUDENT SOLO RECITALS
  • 4:30pm to 5:30pm – Showcase Concert Soundchecks
  • 6:00pm to 8:00pm – SHOWCASE CONCERT
 
Our Showcase Concert will feature:
  • Atlanta Festival Chamber Orchestra’s premiere performance
  • Vienna String Quartet – a student quartet formed at the 2021 Atlanta Festival Academy Chamber Music Camp
  • The Expanse – a competition winning composition by student Annika Joshi
  • WPMA Cello Choir
  • WPMA Piano Trio
  • Vega String Quartet
  • WPMA Faculty String Ensemble with the Vega String Quartet
