4 WPMA Students Feature as Soloists with Orchestras!

Congratulations to four of Mr. William Pu’s gifted students, who are about to shine as soloists with various orchestras in the coming months, showcasing their remarkable talent and dedication. Let’s celebrate Chloe Jung, Ellie Kim, Charlotte Jeong, and Didi Stone’s great achievements!

Chloe Jung (9 years old): will perform the Vivaldi A Minor Violin Concerto with the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra at Dolvin Elementary School on March 25 at 10:00 a.m.

Ellie Kim (14 years old) will perform “Winter” from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with the Gwinnett County Youth Orchestra at Duluth High School on March 26 at 7:00 p.m. Ellie is the winner of the GCYS Concerto Competition and will perform on the podium without a conductor!

Charlotte Jeong (14 years old): Dvorak Violin Concerto (1st Mvt) with the Ludwig Orchestra at Johns Creek United Methodist Church on April 13, 7:00 p.m.

Didi Stone (17 years old) will feature as a soloist and perform Wieniawski Scherzo and Tarantella with the Atlanta Festival Symphony Orchestra at Northview High School on April 13 at 3:00 p.m.

Didi Stone will also perform the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto (1st Mvt) with the Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts on May 8 at 8:00 p.m. Didi is the winner of the EYSO Concerto Competition.

Charlotte Jeong (14 years old): Dvorak Violin Concerto (1st mvt) with the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra at Christchurch Presbyterian Atlanta on May 19, 4:00 p.m. Charlotte is the winner of the 48th Ruth Kern Young Artists Concerto Competition.
