WPMA 14-Year-Old Violin Student Won Awards!

We are pleased to acknowledge the achievements of 8th-grade violinist Charlotte Jeong, a student at the William Pu Music Academy.

Charlotte has been selected as the recipient of the 2024 YOU Award in the Fine Arts category. The YOU Awards International celebrates talented youth from diverse backgrounds, with current honorees from Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas, and plans to expand its reach. Charlotte will receive a trophy, a one-time monetary gift, a merit award, and will be recognized at the annual 9th Awards of YOU international show, airing on March 16 at 4:00 p.m. EST on channel WATL. During the show, Charlotte will deliver a speech and perform.

Additionally, Charlotte will be featured as one of the soloists, performing the first movement of the Dvorak Violin Concerto at the Spring Gala Concert of the Ludwig Symphony Orchestra on April 13th at 7:00 p.m. at the Johns Creek United Methodist Church.

Furthermore, Charlotte is the winner of the 48th Ruth Kern Young Artists Concerto Competition. She will perform the Dvorak Violin Concerto with the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra on May 19 under the baton of conductor Pablo Zamora.

Charlotte has been a dedicated student at the William Pu Music Academy since first grade. We commend her violin teachers, Mr. William Pu and Ms. Amy Chang, for their exceptional instruction, which has contributed to Charlotte’s outstanding accomplishments.👏👍🎼🎻🎶
