Instructor (Piano)
Job Location: Alpharetta
and Buford, GA
Salary: $63,981 per year
Job Duties:
1. Teach private piano lessons and provide piano
accompaniment to assigned students;
2. Prepare and design piano lessons at a high-quality level,
and use proper pedagogical knowledge to select the piano materials for each
unique student;
3. Prepare piano accompaniment at ahigh-quality level and
provide students with proper pianistic/pedagogical guidance during the rehearsals;
4. Accompany well-known repertoire for all instruments;
5. Coordinate with the directors for ongoing pedagogical
training;
6. Train new piano instructors when the company needed;
7. Hold studio recitals as appropriate to demonstrate through
pubic performance the progress of assigned students; and
8. Perform public recitals at least once a year to maintain
pianistic identity to represent William Pu Music Academy as distinguished faculty.
Requirements: Master’s
degree in Piano or Piano Performance and 1 year of full-time or part-time work
experience. Travel to another campus in Buford, GA about once a week depending
on the workload.
